This is the first line of my personal ethos.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
It reminds me why I’m roadtripping while technically homeless, and jobless.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
In the face of heart-pounding anxiety, I see the work.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
When I’m trapped in the mirrors of trauma of my mind on a mushroom trip, I smile and laugh with gratitude. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
What is it all for…this life…if not to live it…fully…in totality. I don’t wanna live a prudent life waiting for heaven, the afterlife. THIS IS THE NEXT LIFE.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Mine has been a tsunami of emotions, trauma, and pain. Without all of that, I wouldn’t have the moments of body-shaking bliss that I do.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Fear is a tool…like the ego. Yet it often drives us feverishly. It is a compass pointing at a trauma, a trigger. When the ego says run, fear says come closer. It’s like when you look our over a cliff edge and you are already closer to the ground, somehow. That same magnetic force can be used when we decide to face our fear when the ego tries to repel you.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Scared of heights? Go skydiving. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Afraid of being poor? Volunteer at a pantry.⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Fear of being homeless? Talk to them. Or follow my lead and get rid of your home ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Afraid of bees? Walk in a field of flowers.⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Scared of going to the movies alone? Go and enjoy yourself ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
You get the point.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Life is shadowwork, if you’re doing it right. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Run towards your fear and you will have the time of your life! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Much love,

Asha
