I’m almost done with my period and it’s been one of the most intense cycles I’ve had in a while.
I blame it on th he alcohol!
Last weekend, I got drunk and dealt with dehydration from it for about 3-4 days. I was drinking so much water and it was barely making a dent.
This week, BAM! Period is here and the cramps were brutal and they slowed me all the way down.
It’s not all bad. I sleep about 12 hours a day including a nap. I take it easy and avoid strenuous activity. I eat good food that makes my belly comfortable. I take homemade ginger capsules like its nobody’s business. And I catch up on books and conversations.
I’ve begun research on the menstrual cycle because I honestly don’t know as much as I should considering I have a vagina.
This research is so that I can
-understand all parts of my cycle
-track my cycle manually
-determine energy levels and mood based on cycle phase
-understand how food affects the cycle
-live more in alignment with my body
-use my experience to help other women
I’ll share this info once I’ve drawn some conclusions.
